Canon Law mandates that every parish maintain a Finance Council in each parish. It serves as a consultative body to advise and assist the pastor and business manager in controlling and overseeing financial affairs of our parish. Members of the Finance Council meet quarterly to review the actual income and expenses reports of our church and they provide insight and advise. They evaluate the budgets and compare the Profit and Loss reports to years past. They recommend and get involved in fundraising events, evaluate investment accounts with the Diocese, and review any upcoming repairs or renovations in our churhc and the property.
